The College established in 1989-90 is affiliated to the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur. Initially it had started with a small strength of 160 students and few courses in the Arts, Commerce and Science stream. it mainly caters to the educational needs of the tribal belt in this region with its focused objective to provide education to girl students from the tribal areas.
